1. Scope of Services
The DJ agrees to provide music and entertainment services for the Client’s event as submitted:

2. Payment Terms
Total Amount: selection + options
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due upon signing this Agreement to secure the date.
Final Payment: The remaining balance of is due 7 days prior to the event or on the event date.
Overtime Rate: If the event exceeds the agreed-upon end time, overtime will be charged at $100 per hour, payable at the conclusion of the event.
3. Cancellation Policy
Client Cancellation: If the Client cancels the event more than 90 days prior to the event date, no additional payment is due. If the cancellation occurs within 60 days, the Client agrees to pay 50% of the remaining balance.
DJ Cancellation: In the unlikely event that the DJ must cancel, the DJ will refund all payments or arrange a suitable replacement DJ, if available.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond their control, such as natural disasters or government restrictions.
4. Event Requirements
The Client agrees to provide:
Power Supply: Adequate power supply near the DJ setup area.
Setup Area: A secure, sheltered area for DJ equipment.
Access: Early access to the venue for setup at least 2 hours before the event start time.
5. Music Selection and Requests
The DJ will work with the Client to create a playlist in line with the Client’s preferences. While requests will be taken during the event, the DJ has discretion to manage requests in a way that maintains event flow and vibe.
6. Liability
The DJ shall not be responsible for any injuries or property damage caused by attendees. The Client is responsible for ensuring a safe environment and will indemnify the DJ against any claims arising from the event.
7. Equipment Malfunctions
In the rare event of equipment malfunction, the DJ will make every effort to restore service promptly. The Client acknowledges that issues with equipment are beyond the DJ’s control, and no refunds will be issued unless a total performance failure occurs.
8. Media Release
The Client grants permission for the DJ to use event photos, videos, or audio recordings for promotional purposes on the DJ’s website, social media, or marketing materials.

To confirm this agreement, submit your response by selecting the "I Agree" checkbox on this page with a deposit of $100.00. Agreements received after the Response Date is subject to availability. The balance may be paid no later than one week prior to the event by check or online. The balance is due no later than the date of the event unless otherwise previously arranged and may be paid with cash or credit card (fee 2.75%) Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. All checks should be made payable to Fernando Oliva. There will be a $25.00 fee charged for all returned checks. Gratuities given to a Disc Jockey at an event are made at the sole discretion of the Client.
